The Monks Bed and Breakfast Guest House is an attractive Georgian house, dated 1734, situated in the centre of this friendly Yorkshire/Lancashire border town, close to Bronte country. The house is only a short drive away from Skipton, considered the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, the home of the Brontes at Haworth and the Pendle way as well as numerous attractions and historic sites nearby.
The Monks offers 3 star accommodation of a high standard, with comfortable rooms, tasteful furnishings and a welcoming atmosphere coupled with exceptional service. All rooms are either shared bathroom or en-suite and there is a choice of single, double, twin or family accommodation. A hearty English breakfast or lighter choices are taken in the dining room and this room can also be used by guests wanting to bring food in at other times.
